KAIPTC, Project support 2023-2026

About this project

This contribution concerns support to the Kofi Annan International Peacekeeping Training Centre (KAIPTC), more specifically support to the Women and Youth Peace and Security Institute (WYPSI). The overall goal of the project is "To enhance the role of women and youth to contribute to achieving sustainable peace and security in Africa". The planned contribution follows previous support to the programme "Enhancing the Operationalization of the Women, Peace and Security Agenda in Africa", with a budget of 15 MSEK over three years (2019­2023). As for the previous support, KAIPTC will be the direct and only recipient of the funding for this planned contribution and the programme will be managed from its office based in Accra, Ghana.
